We had the craziest time exploring the nearby theme parks - it was like being in a movie! The adrenaline rush from the thrilling rides and heart-pounding attractions had us screaming our heads off. We felt like teenagers on a mission to conquer every roller coaster in sight. It was the adventure of a lifetime, and we'll never forget the cool memories we made together.
Okay, so one thing we wish could've been better was the nightlife scene. Don't get me wrong, the nature park was stunning and provided incredible experiences during the day.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration in the house at Hrifunes Nature Park. The warm colors, comfortable furniture, and beautiful artwork made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciate when hotels have thoughtfully decorated spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and accessible. The accessible layout of the house, with wide hallways and grab bars in the bathroom, also made it easy for me to navigate and feel safe during my stay.
I would have appreciated some assistance from the children working there with carrying my luggage up to the house. Being a senior traveler, it can be a bit challenging to carry heavy bags, and having someone offer to help would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

What an absolute find! We had the most delightful night here. Outstanding views from large panoramic windows looking over the park. So peaceful and quiet. Easily catered for 2 extra guests - nothing was a problem for the owners - they are so welcoming. The crowning glory for our stay was the hot tub on a summers evening until late. Very highly recommended.
Huge private cabins. Brand new facilities with absolutely amazing views!

The cabin was sick, with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna! The views were to die for, and we even saw the northern lights! We had a blast exploring the nearby national parks and waterfalls. It was like being in a nature wonderland!
The only thing we wished for was a cooler hangout spot for young folks. Maybe a game room with a pool table or a chill lounge area.

I had an amazing experience staying at this secluded home in South Iceland. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful vistas of the surrounding area. the house was spacious and provided plenty of room for our family of four. We loved the fiber internet connection, which was even faster and better than what we had in Reykjavik. the hot tub and sauna were luxurious amenities that we enjoyed after a day of hiking and driving. Even with stormy weather, we felt cozy and comfortable, with the sound of wind and rain on the windows. Our host was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway. Cons: Nothing 😊.

Wow, what an incredible place! the views were absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by nature and with a perfect view of the valley, glacier, and volcano. It truly felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we were looking for. And let's talk about the amenities - the private sauna and hot tub were amazing. We spent hours relaxing in the hot tub, especially when it was dark and the wind was blowing. Plus, having a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room was an unexpected bonus. the space was modern, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Honestly, there was very little to complain about. If I had to nitpick, the doors were a bit creaky, which was a minor inconvenience.

I had an amazing stay at Hrifunes Nature Park! The location was amazing, nestled in the midst of nature. It was the perfect place for some peace and tranquility. The modern design of the hotel made the most of the surrounding beauty, with large windows to take in the fine views. The host was cute and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel served as a great base for exploring the South of Iceland, with convenient access to various attractions. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start and end each day of my trip.

The cabin was spacious, well-furnished, and felt just like home. The fine views of the open grassland were a highlight, especially when we were lucky enough to witness the northern lights. The amenities, including the wood-fired hot tub and sauna, added a touch of luxury to our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to cook our meals. Although the location was a bit far from the main road, it was worth the drive to be surrounded by nature. Despite a minor issue with flies and a small sign for the reception, our overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy their surroundings in luxury.

We absolutely loved our stay at this incredible nature park! The view from the living area's large windows was breathtaking. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house because of its peaceful and gorgeous surroundings. The house is quite isolated, but we were able to find groceries in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, which was about a 30-minute drive away. The attached restaurant was also good. The hot tub, heated by a wood stove, was a unique experience for our teens, who enjoyed loading the wood and guessing when it was the perfect temperature. The views from the hot tub were stunning. The sauna was a great addition, and the spotty wifi was actually a blessing because it encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
